On October 8, 2011, the Central Iowa Chapter of Safeguard Iowa Partnership will host the 1st Annual Prepare Fair. The Prepare Fair will held at the downtown Des Moines, IA Capital Square. The National Weather Service in Des Moines, will have a booth at the fair. The National Weather Service booth will have Iowa weather history birthday certificates, information about severe weather and flooding safety and staff to help people program their NOAA All Hazards Weather Radio. Meteorologists and the senior hydrologist will be available to answer your weather or flood questions.
