The 2008 update of the Mid Iowa SKYWARN
Operations Manual can be downloaded here: Mid-Iowa SKYWARN is a group of volunteer severe weather spotters consisting primarily of amateur radio operators who have organized to enhance communication, training, recruitment and interest in observing & reporting hazardous weather conditions across the Des Moines National Weather Service 51 county warning area in Iowa. The group is open to any individual interested in observing and reporting hazardous weather and/or interested in amateur radio.
